The adoption community had taken pride in it's gentleness over the years and we quietly slink back into the shadows when lawmakers tell us we need permission , and when they say no. We hashtag things like #flipthescript which is lovely , however you do not see the Black Lives Matter folks tweeting #pleasetreatusnicely when their basic rights are denied or violated do you?
Why then is it that we have adoptees , who are viewed by the law as perpetual children acting like teenagers with strict parents quietly and demurely asking "may I please go to the prom with the pastor's son?" . The reason we are not winning is because we are acting like timid teenagers asking permission to have access to the stuff we already own. There is not much more frustrating in the march to basic rights for adopted people than adoptees themselves who do not want to shake the apple cart much less turn it over .
People say things like , "you don't want to make them upset". WHY NOT ??????????
PETA and the HSUS make fake videos of animal abuse and debunked documentaries like Blackfish to get you to donate to their CEO's vacations , Other organizations pump out all sorts of over emotional crap to steal your money . Some folks that are mad about stuff take to the streets , remember the WTO in Seattle? That did not happen because folks were happy, it also set the standard pretty damn high when it comes to social response to a real injustice.
Have any of you seen the crazy over the top feminist bullshit on tumblr lately? These people are all radical about their cause . They are extremists , which is exactly what we need to do. We need to strap on our Doc Martens , pull our gas masks out of the closet , grab our engineers hammers and start DEMANDING what we want . We need to make it epic , unforgettable and LOUD. Louder than we have ever been about anything . I am tired of seeing garbage like this latest abomination going down in Missouri .
Limited rights are not rights . Let me say that again, LIMITED RIGHTS ARE NOT RIGHTS .
Are you aware that they are giving you less than Jim Crow ? I want you to think about that for a moment , we KNOW people in Missouri know how to make their voice heard and yet they settle for THIS?????

I'm baaaaaack kids . It has been quite a while and the spirit has not hit me to write anything , except now I just gotta because .....well .......the election, birth certificates, someone I will love till the day I die and cannot be with , reuniting with my birth mom, (you read that right, DNA is a magical thing ) , Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them, Harry Potter and the cursed child , and a boatload of other stuff including my dogs.
Now that all of that is out of the way , I will hit each bullet point in detail . There will be things in this blog that offend you , be warned now, that I don't care . #1 , the election . I will say this I am a conservative . I believe in slashing the federal goobermint by about 3/4 of it's current size , shutting down that damn ACA , (yes I don't care if that means you lose your health insurance, you are taxing other people just to be alive so you have this and for the last time a car is a privilege so no, it's not the same ). Anyway the election , where did this current class of clowns, and morons come from? Bernie Sanders is a socialist and socialism is BAD . (don't start moaning about the rooooooads you libtarted zombie , you know better you just don't think I know how to answer) Billary Clinton ???? WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT ? This choice makes as much sense as that Cake by the Ocean song . Donald Trump? this is insane , he is a DEMOCRAT that wants single payer healthcare . that is about as appealing as a rotten durian that has been pissed on by a cat (look it up) . Ted Cruz , lets go there . Carnival barker and son of a preacher. I am not questioning his citizenship, I am questioning his campaign tactics and his sincerity I don't buy it. Marco Rubio is a living breathing Ken Doll . Rand Paul was the only one that was running that was even close to qualified for that job what in the hell is wrong with you people? "When the people fear the government, that is tyranny; but when the government fears the people, that's liberty." - Thomas Jefferson . Please get a clue .
Birth certificates . There is actually talk of fraudulent birth certificates in the election cycle again. Every adoptee that is not from an open records state has a fraudulent birth certificate . I would at this time like to inspire ALL American adoptees with closed records to run for President . That's right , encourage your supporters to beg the government for your birth certificate, tell them you have no idea who in the heck you even are and you may have been born in a cave in Afghanistan.Hell for all you know, Osama could be your daddy? Make sure the voter knows you think this may be possible. Let's make this the dog and pony show what it should be , split the vote so badly that Vermin Supreme wins this shit . Will he give you your paperwork? YEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK the issue about love ....well it just doesn't really matter anymore does it ? too many changes and too many miles. I will just say that I thought about you every single day , for all those years and still do , and missed you .
I found my bio family on my mother's side through the magical DNA thing a ma jig that the mormons run. No temple garments required and they did not convert me . Good stuff . On the Ged match I found a 1st cousin from my father's side , they are not as forthcoming as my mom's side . very strange limbo I am in . More about that maybe in the next post . i find it pretty cool to have a large extended family though .

My newest dog (there will be more about all three in my next post , This is Eeyore . Eeyore is a xoloitzcuintli . Everything about him is absolutely wonderful . He is running for city council at large in Annapolis Maryland .

Mr Brown this position makes you a hypocrite of the highest order and if you do not change your position without a realistic explanation, someone will find out why you hold this position so strongly.

It is time for adoptees to get all anarchist , up in heah , Pennsylvania open records bill , 18,000 people missing in Balochistan
Good day from the Happy Housewife, I have been thinking about some stuff this week that will most likely enrage some folks for various reasons. Please direct all hate mail to jimpfamily@gmail.com I can indeed take it and I am looking forward to it .
Gentle protest and begging only makes us look like fools to the politicians who can't keep their pants up that would be outed if adoption records would be opened. They are protecting themselves and their friends , do not forget this. Liberals are the absolute worst when it comes to this crap, "they want to protect the "anonymity" of that "choice" , you want anonymous? OK , we can oblige the level of volume YOU NEED ,TO HEAR WHEN IT COMES TO THE INJUSTICES YOU PERPETUATE ON ADOPTEES . Of course typing in all caps is not loud enough and equivelant to the gentle begging that has been going on. This is not about finding birth families (although that is a very real and wonderful thing for me) this is about basic rights .
There are adoptees that have amended birth certificates that are issued well after their birth , the trigger with the system to not be able to verify someone's identification for securing employment or a passport is one and a half years. Those of us who are three or more years of separation between date of issue and birth date are SCREWED. We are denied employment, passports, driver licenses due to this discrepancy .
In the coming weeks personal stories of those denied travel and the right to work to support themselves will be shared here . My story is irrelevant, mine is a right to work and travel story because my ABC is so messed up. So I shall make this my job. I am tenacious , I do not give up , I am ridiculously patient , and I am more than a little bit of a loud mouth. I have a VERY thin filter when it comes to political correctness as most of the topics I will discuss here are less than politically correct. The anonymity of "choice" does not trump my right to have equal rights .
To put this in context if you are against adoptees having their original information, if you know anything about Harry Potter I am to YOU , Delores Umbridge . complete with pink sugar cubes for my tea and a magic pen that will inscribe my message on your soul.

I have been thinking about writing this blog for a LONG time and have always figured what I have to say would be less than gentle regarding most topics . I need to say thank you to my new found family member Wendy, she gave me that extra push to give this a spin without waiting yet another year. Nice to meet you , anyone who is reading this I am at the place in my life where I am ending a 27 year adoption search. I have found my birth family on my birth mother's side and they are truly amazing. I seem to have made a DNA match with my paternal side , but I have not heard anything from them , I am guessing no one is willing to talk on that side . I just wish I would get a "he is not willing to talk , here is the health info ......have a nice day".

The adoption bill that is coming before the PA legislature , I am for opening adoption records . I am for opening adoption records for all adoptees regardless of the circumstances around the adoption. There , my stance is now public. Everyone deserves to have their own truth good or bad, it is called closure and no amount of protection from that is going to give adoptees any comfort.

The REAL ID act , adoptees have major ongoing issues with this crap legislation . Some adoptees have issue dates on their amended birth certificates that are 3 years or more separated from the date of birth, my ABC was issued in 1973, my date of birth was in 1970. This is an issue with getting anything from a passport to a job, I accept BTC and us dollar and doge coin donations, post in the comments and I will reply accordingly.

I just saw on TV that the government spent 3.9 million to study monkeys getting drunk. This is far more constructive than the common core , and should be expanded to research parents being driven to drink by government intervention in the family.

Most politicians are war mongers and they use national security apparatus to drum up reasons to go to war. Including the current moron inhabiting the oval office. I would suggest that voting for someone like Rand Paul is probably a better idea than voting for a regular GOP or DEM hack . At least you know where he is coming from and what he stands for. If you cannot bring yourself to vote for Rand, vote for Vermin Supreme , I have always wanted a pony.
